[/color] She meowed.Personality:Wolfstar use to be a very shy and quite she-cat when she was first born in her small family of household cats. She was the youngest of them and would often get things last, unless it was a bath. She hated moving around when she was very young, moving from the Netherlands and out to the US, where her owners wanted to move for a third time. It was her main reason for running away from the couple who took her and her brother into their homes and far away from their parents and siblings. She soon became a very determined cat, what with having to live with her brother Midnight all the time, who had become very stern with what his brother and sister did. She followed with part of her brothers persona traits and followed Rebel's to fill in the gaps, still able to have a good time and play jokes.
When she became an apprentice she became very determined in all her work and gave it all that she had. She never stopped loving Lizardtail, who took care of her when she was a kit, just joining the clan, and when her mentor died after a dangerous rat bite, she became even more determined to do the things that she was taught to do to make them proud. It takes a lot for Wolfsong not to feel too sad about the loss of a family member, especially when it comes down to her family. She missed her parents and siblings dearly, and even if Rebel ran off as well, leaving Midnight behind with her old house folk, she still misses them as well.
When she became a warrior, Wolfsong began to have a bit more pride for herself. When the leader was near his death and Thunderleap would soon have to take his place, she had soon realized that she had wanted more to become a deputy. But falling in love with a male named Pridefeather came first and her dream was crushed while it had been made. Though she had begun to want Deputy ship more than anything, she loved Pridefeather more and would never do anything to hurt him. She began to have many nightmares after the death of Pridefeather, her dreams began to become a reality, and since then she has been afraid of being in a dark forest without the comfort of the moon above her head. Her hunting skills were always excellent and her fighting skills had begun to slow down slightly because of her constant grief. She tries to keep it un-noticable to her clan and is making the attempt to try and get over all the sorrows in her clan. When she hears about a problem that needs to be sorted, especially involving her, she always confronts them with her head held high.
History:Kithood: As a small kit, she was born in a litter of four, the second litter of two house cats named Precious and Tiger. Born along side of Angel, Midnight and Rebel, she was always the most quite one of them all, while her brother Rebel was always the one in trouble. At the time, about five weeks old, she was very close to her older brother Frosty, who was born in the first litter of her parents along with Chastity, who lived just next door to them. The twolegs that she lived with were very nice people, old and near death meaning in about three seasons, but kind and sweet just as her mother. When she was eight weeks old, the couple we're giving her and her three siblings up, Midnight, Rebel and her were taking by a young couple with two kids, while Angel was taking by the owners of Chastity. They weren't bad people, and she did like them, but when she was nearing ten weeks, her brothers and she moved from where they lived with their owners in the Netherlands, over to the United States.
It was cold when they first got there, not being used to the whole snow being every where you go in the middle of winter, and Rebel caught cold of the area soon enough. They had moved far away from their mother and father and their siblings and would never see them again. Not wanting to move again, because the couple wanted to move to another town not far away, Wolfy, as she was known then, ran away.
Juliet had opened a window, the cold air hit Wolfy in the face as she woke from her nap on the bed of Marie's room. The little girl had gone to school and this gave Wolfy the chance to sleep on the most comfortable place in the twoleg nest. "I can't wait until we move again. Juno will be a great place to raise the kids." Juliet announced to her husband mark, who had just walked into the room, Midnight behind him. She pricked up her ears, staring at the twolegs with large eyes. 'Moving! Again?!' Mark agreed and together, they left the room. Midnight gave his sister a friendly wave with his tail. "Did you hear that! We're moving again."
Rebel padded up next to him, his tabby fur ruffled as he heard what his black brother had just announced. "I hope it's somewhere nice." He meowed. "The cats here a rude." He wrapped his tail around his paws, pale green eyes flickered with excitement. "What do you think Wolfy?" He asked her. She rolled her eyes, annoyance was found where ever she did this, but her brothers knew that it was never toward them. "I don't like it. This will be the third time we've moved, and I'm tired of it." She got up, grooming herself quickly and looked back at her brothers. I think... I think I'm gonna leave here. For good."
Midnight narrowed his copper gaze at her, teeth bared at her remark. "Are you crazy. Where will you go. We have so much here and you want to run off somewhere else." He hissed. How will you even get out?" He questioned her with a snarl. Rebel layed his ears back, pale eyes struck with grief at the thought of having his sister leave them. Standing up, she snorted down at the black tom. I'll figure a way out. She meowed, making her way over to the window, where she could smell the cold air coming through the small crack in the window, big enough for her to fit her body underneath and pushed it higher with all her might.
Once the window had opened, she looked outside to the newly fresh, March grass that had just started growing a week ago. She looked around the window, up, down, to the sides, but she didn't think to feel it until her whisker brushed against it. Giving it a final thought, she pressed the webbing with a fore-paw, and watched as it stretched out wards. Claws outstretched, she stood on her hind legs, pushing hard on the webbing until it finally fell over and Wolfy landed into a pile of snow. Her brothers lept to the window, amazed that she had found a way out. Midnight looked at her with hard copper eyes. "You'll have to defend for yourself now you know." He meowed, his voice never wavering as he spoke.
"I know." She meowed sentimentally, saying her goodbyes to her brothers and running off into the denseness of the pine trees.[/i]
When Wolfy had left her brothers behind, she ran off the the dense pine trees, where all the new scents and smells surrounded her. She was chased up the tree, ironically, by a wolf, where it waited for an hour before giving up and moving on. Soon after that, a patrol of cats came near her, where she called for their help. A cinder and white she-cat named Cindercloud, taught her how the quickest way to get down was, and when she reached the ground they took her to the camp. When asked where she was from, she told the leader of PetalClan that she had left her twolegs and wanted to live in the wild, where she didn't have to move from home to home all the time. They accepted her in, where a queen named Lizardtail, who had just lost her kits, took her in.
Apprenticeship: When Wolfy became an apprentice, she was newly named Wolfpaw. Lizardtail had passed just a few days before then, and Cindercloud was to become her mentor. She taught Wolfpaw many great things, where to find the best prey, where to and where not to go, and how to hunt for herself and her clan. She was happy with her new family and was glad that moving was only an option if something drastic where to happen to the camp, which she was told had hardly happened at all. She had gone to her first clan gathering at six moons old, where she met many other cats, including a she-cat named Dustypaw, a pale brown tabby with blue eyes who was blind at birth. They were very good friends and they even made the promise to have kits at the same time when they had mates as warriors.
At eight moons old, Wolfpaw had her first battle with a pack of rats. Though she had walked away with just minor cuts and no serious injuries, her mentor had gotten a bad infection to one of the rats after pushing Wolfpaw away from a lunger. She had bitten to protect the apprentice, and Wolfpaw began to feel bad for what she had caused, blaming the incident on herself. Her close friend in the clan, Pridepaw, who was apprenticed with her, made every attempt possible to make her feel better, everything from comforting words to running into a tree to make her laugh, which worked every time. At ten moons old, she caught one of the biggest squirrels she had ever seen, and even though she was in joint training, she had used Cindercloud methods and put them to good use.
At eleven moons old, she had soon found out that there had been rumors going around the apprentices den that Pridefeather was in love with her. She always confronted her problems and when she confronted him, he told her the truth. She loved him just as much, but had never known it till she was asked around the clan if they were together.
Warriorship: As a warrior, she and Pridefeather as he was now called, had begun to learn more about each other. During this time, they had became mates at thirteen moons old. They spent many patrols and parties together and when the gathering came around, she and Dustysight had decided now that they would have kits. The next day, she wanted to tell Pridefeather that she had wanted to have his kits now. The same day, Pridefeather had left to hunt, leaving her to sleep because she had gone to the gathering and he had stayed behind. As the sun had gotten higher and higher and the days had past, Pridefeather had never come home. The patrols had searched each day until they finally found blood and tufts of ginger and white fur around the den of a fox.
Wolfsong had mourned for many days and when the leader had soon died after wards, Thunderleap became leader and chose her to become deputy. She was so unsure at first and asked for a few moments to decide on what she wanted and if she had still wanted it. Her loss of Pridefeather had made her wish that she would never have a mate again and she knew that she would be faithful to that promise this way. She decided to be deputy not only for her mate, but for her clan as well.
Deputyship: As the moons passed by, her sadness and depression began to dissolve. She keeps to her Clan at the gatherings and will only talk to the other deputies and Dustysight. When at the latest gathering, Wolfsong met Briarpaw, Dustysight's only kit. Introductions were always best to do so she did. Just as she had told Thunderstar when she became deputy, she makes sure that someone is doing something in the clan, everything from cleaning out the nursery, to patrols, and hunting parties. She doesn't take excuses from apprentices when they don't do what they are suppose to and she can be very calming to be around.[/blockquote]
Appearance:
Wolfstar is a medium sized she-cat, meaning her legs aren't long and they aren't short. Her paws are small and her tail is long and bushy like a wolf. Her fur is medium length, and has a bright brown tabby pattern about it that had attracted Pridefeather to her many years ago. Her eyes, unlike her brother Rebel, are a bright, exillerating green, and match the color of spring time leaves. Her nose is a dark red and is gradiented with black around it. She has dark rims around her eyes and her ears are tall and strait. Her whiskers are long and straight, and almost curve.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
