Personality:Briarpaw is a very gentle she-cat, being rude only when she needs to be. She is very gentle to kits and will do anything that the queens or the elders ask from her. She has high hopes of becoming the leader one day, and so she is very obidient. She never lies to anyone except when it is for a very close friend. She does all of her chores and tries to go out hunting whenever she can. She shows aggression only in a fight and also when being told she is wrong when she is actually quite right. Even when the whole clan is having a discussion and they go the wrong way with things.
Briarpaw is a very cheerful cat, and is only shy and nervous around new cats. Though she does not like fighting, she will if she needs to and only then. She concentrates very hard on her training in hunting and battling, concentrating the most at catching fish and at other prey, even though OceanClan cats only catch fish. When she does something wrong, she tries to make the attempt of making it up to the clan by hunting, even when she is sick.
History:As a kit, Briarkit was always obidient to her blind, pale tabby mother, Dustysight. Her mothers blindness gave her father the right to name her, and so he named her Briar. Though her father was the one to name her, Firebreathe never seemed to care, the completely dark ginger, nearly red, tom, was never around to visit, except to give Dustysight some fish. It seemed as though her father didn't really care about her as much as the other males cared for their mates. Her first day outside the nursery, she had nearly been taken away by an owl, but instead of her, the owl took the fish that she had been ready to eat. Her mother had been worried that she had gone into shock some how, and her mother needed a whole lot of reassurement from the medicine cat.
As soon as Briarpaw became an apprentice, she had learned how to swim on her first day and on the second day she had caught a fish almost as large as she was. Even though she had to have her mentors help in pulling out the fish, her mentor gave her all the credit. She trained very hard and soon it had gotten the best of her. She was put in the medicine cat's den a moon after her catch of the large fish, she had come down with a slight bout of greencough. The medicine cat told Dustysight that there was nothing to be deeply concerned about and that she was lucky that her greencough never formed into whitecough. She soon recovered just a few days before she turned eight moons old.
Appearance:Briarpaw is very small for her age, looking almost like she was still five moons old. Her coat is very soft and short, making her coat quite pretty at touch and not just that. Even at first glance her coat makes her seem beautiful, as well as her eyes. Her beautiful white coat is plastered in patches of dark ginger tabby. Though she may not look like it, she is not blind like her mother, due to her inherited bluish and glassy grey eyes. In the sunlight, her fur turns into a fiery red, while her eyes turn into a stunning and sparkling icey blue.
Briarpaw's feet are very small, round, and have a slight hint of pale ginger tabby, which looks like a dusty brown in the sunlight. Her eyes are surrounded in thick, black rims and a much paler white, splashed around her eyes. Her tail is long compared to her unussual size and streatches high, seeming as though it was going to touch the sky. Her nose is a brick red, which has a gradient of black all around it. Her legs are short and stocky which makes her a terrible runner, but are powerful enough to make her a perfect swimmer. Her whiskers are unussually long and white, and her claws are a cloudy clear color. Her teeth are as sharp as ridged stones and are beginning to turn yellow like the warriors teeth are.
